Chemical properties:
4-(3-Fluorobenzyloxy)benzaldehyde is a white to off-white solid at room temperature and pressure. It is a benzaldehyde derivative. It is easily oxidized by air to form corresponding benzoic acid compounds when stored at room temperature for a long time. Therefore, it is generally required to be stored at low temperature (2 to 8 degrees).
use:
4-(3-Fluorobenzyloxy)benzaldehyde can be used as an organic synthesis intermediate for laboratory research and development and drug molecule synthesis. In organic synthesis transformation, the aldehyde group in the structure can be converted into a carboxyl group through oxidation, or through a reduction reaction converted to hydroxyl group
